The SKV Way

Shaping Character,
Building Citizens

At Shree SKV Vidhya Mandhir, discipline is not merely a set of rules β€” it is a value system that shapes character, builds integrity, and prepares students for a life of purpose and responsibility. Our Code of Conduct is the bedrock upon which we nurture every learner.

We believe a disciplined student is a confident student. These principles, observed every day in every space, help our children develop into respectful, empathetic, and morally upright individuals who make their families, school, and society proud.

Conduct by Category

Our Code of Conduct is organized into three clear pillars β€” each shaping a different dimension of a student's character and daily school life.

1
Polite & Disciplined β€” Always greet teachers wherever you meet them. The school is judged by your conduct. Bullying, foul language, and vulgar behaviour will lead to strict disciplinary action.
3
Never Be Cruel β€” Cruelty is the trait of a bully; kindness is the mark of a gentleman. Treat every person with warmth, compassion, and dignity.
5
Courage in Adversity β€” Face all difficulties courageously and confidently. A challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger in character and spirit.
7
Honesty Always β€” Never cheat, be unfair, steal from others, or borrow belongings without permission. Honesty is the foundation of trust.
9
Be Truthful β€” Uphold the truth at all times. Truthfulness defines who you are β€” in your words, your actions, and your character.
11
Say No to Wrong β€” Never hesitate to say "NO" when tempted or asked to do something you know is wrong. Moral courage matters.
12
Respect Others' Rights β€” Respect the liberty, privacy, and rights of everyone around you. Freedom is only meaningful when we protect it for all.
13
Be the Change β€” Instead of lamenting the evils of the world, contribute your share in making the world a better, kinder place to live in.
14
Embrace All People β€” Look upon people from all walks of life as your brethren, irrespective of their caste, colour, creed, or background.
2
Care for Your Health β€” Take good care of your health and keep yourself physically fit and strong. A healthy body supports a sharp and focused mind.
16
Uniform with Pride β€” Take pride in wearing your school uniform. You must not wear the school uniform in any public place without prior permission from the school.
19
Neat & Groomed β€” Hair must be regularly trimmed, must not cover the forehead or touch the collar. Girls must tie hair in neat double-folded plaits with twin ribbons.
20
Almanac & ID Card β€” The school almanac and identity card must be brought to school every single day without fail. These are mandatory items.
4
Accept & Complete Work β€” Always accept and complete whatever work is assigned to you by teachers, no matter the subject or difficulty.
6
Lend a Helping Hand β€” Be ready to help parents, siblings, teachers, companions, and any unattended visitor you happen to meet on school premises.
8
Stand in Respect β€” Rise from your seat whenever a teacher or visitor enters the classroom. This is a mark of respect and a cherished school tradition.
10
Respect the Premises β€” Respect the aesthetics of classrooms and school premises. Report any damage caused to teachers immediately and honestly.
15
No Idle Gossip β€” Never waste precious time in idle gossip. Use your time purposefully β€” for learning, growth, kindness, and positive engagement.
17
No Shouting or Running β€” Shouting and whistling are not allowed in or around the school building. Running in corridors is strictly prohibited at all times.
18
Zero Physical Harm β€” Throwing objects outside windows, physically hurting anyone in or outside school, or throwing any object at anyone is strictly forbidden.
21
No Littering β€” Students must not litter classrooms, subject rooms, laboratories, or corridors. A clean environment reflects a clean mind and character.
22
Camera & Social Media β€” Written permission is required to photograph school activities. Uploading such photographs to social media without approval will lead to disciplinary action.
